GETTING STARTED GUIDE

Installation and Login

After downloading the game client from Aeria Games website, couple click the file and install the game. After installation has finished, double click the shortcut on your desktop or the application itself to run the game client. The client will automatically download and install new patches and after it has finished you can select the server you wish to log into. The window will close and a new game window will come up. Enter your Aeria Games username and password when asked.

Creating your First Character

When creating your first character, you will be asked to specify the following information before you can enter the world:
- Name
- Race
- Gender
- Class
- Hair Color
- Hair Style

Basic Controls

Left Click - Melee Attack, select NPCs, move
Right Click - Magic attack, split items in inventory
Mouse Wheel - move camera

Movement

Q - Left Strafe
E - Right Strafe
W - Move Forward
A - Turn Left
S - Move Backwards
D - Turn Right

Map

Humans start at Ladianes Village and Elves start at Veros Castle. From here players can move to various other villages, turfs and explore the lands of Veros and Ladianes.

Quests

At various levels players can begin quests by speaking to NPCs. These NPCs will assign various tasks for the player to complete including killing certain monsters, finding a certain item and talking to other NPCs.

Hunting & Fighting

Melee Skill - To attack, first make sure you have a skill assigned to blue and possibly red slots on the bottom left corner of the UI from your skill window. Left click on a monster or other player to attack with physical type moves. Hold down the left mouse button until the target under the monster or player turns red to auto-attack (You will continue to attack until you or the opponent die)
Magic Skill - To attack, first assign a skill to the green slot on the bottom left corner of the UI from your skill window. Right click your opponent to attack, repeating as necessary. Blades and fists have no magic skill. To use buffs, right click yourself or another player if applicable.

Chatting

There are various Channels available for chatting in Turf Battles. Press ENTER to begin typing in the chat window. You can talk to people in the nearby vicinity on the TALK channel. You can reach even further with the SHOUT channel. Engage players in private conversation by using the WHISPER channel and entering the name of the player exactly. To assign a custom channel, open your character inventory window and right click the two magic shells and type in the desired channel. Any custom channel can be entered and anyone on that channel can talk to you and you to them. You can block someone's messages by right clicking their name in the chat window.
